Tóalmási smoked Cluj-Napoca (Kolzsvári)bacon is made using boneless pork raw Cluj-Napoca bacon, which is traditionally marinated in dry salt, matured and smoked with hardwood in a stone incense burner. Apart from kitchen salt and marinade, no other coloring, texture-improving or maturation-accelerating additives are used in the production. Well-sliced, rectangular in shape, a boneless product about 3 to 5 cm thick with a leathery surface on one side.
